If you are currently enrolled as a student at RWTH Aachen (e.g. as an exchange student or in a general course
with a student ID number), the deadline is July 15th for the winter semester and January 15th for the summer semester. These deadlines also apply to applicants who already possess a German
university degree.
** It is strongly recommended to begin your studies in the winter semester
Before applying, ensure you have all the necessary documents in PDF format. A list of the required documents is provided below.
- Tabular resume
- Copy of the transcript of records and, if possible, the module descriptions (Diploma Supplement). Please submit a transcript of records showing all completed semesters until now. At the time of application, you should be able to submit your transcript of records for all but the last two semesters of your studies.
- If you already possess a degree: copy of university completion certificate.
- If you have already completed a language course: copy of language certificate.
- Supplement to the application for the Master’s degree program
If your documents were not issued in German or English, you must have them translated into either of those languages by a certified translator. The copies do not need to be
notarised. Please note that in such cases, the copy of the translation or the copy of the original document alone is not sufficient. Make sure to upload both!
